1. In view of-alternative procedure and/or etiology, pathogenesis of massive rectal prolapse, the following treatment are added.
2. In 2 cases report, the mere mobilization of the rectum, rectosigmoid and the suturing of the peritoneal flaps of the bowel have brought about satisfactory result.
3. This can best be accomplished with a V-shaped fascia lata graft.
4. We have recently experienced 2 cases by the fascia lata proctopexy.
